The beautiful sandy beach of Diernäs is within walking distance of the house, where you can dive into the clean water and build sandcastles with your children or cast your fishing rod. Not far away is Slivsö, South Jutland's third largest lake. Countless bird species live there today, including kingfishers and sea eagles. The area is perfect for anglers, as the lake is home to pike, perch and trout. Diernäs Strand is a very family-friendly area with calm waters out to the Little Belt. Hadersleben is close by and offers a charming old town with an imposing cathedral church. Further south you reach Graasten Slot, where the royal family gathers in summer.
