Sonderstrand on the Wadden Sea island of Rømø

Sonderstrand is a child-friendly beaches in Denmark. Shallow water, a sandy seabed and sand dunes – does it get any better than this? NOVASOL lets holiday cottages in Sonderstrand.

Sonderstrand, which is situated on the southern end of Rømø, is a holiday cottage area near the water and harbour. The beach is incredibly child-friendly, and there are life-savers throughout the summer period. The beach is divided into different areas, so there is plenty of room for both bathing and kite surfing.

Sonderstrand is surrounded by trees, sand dunes and heather areas. It lies just like a pearl in western Denmark. There is plenty of opportunity for walks in the countryside, and Novasol lets holiday cottages and holiday villas which are centrally located in the area.

Vraby Plantation, which is a beautiful woodland area with many nature paths to explore, is situated nearby Sonderstrand. You also find Stagebjerg here, which is an 18-metre tall vantage point that provides a fantastic view of the whole area.

On the beach it is possible to both try beach sailing and kite buggying. Furthermore, the area has a mini golf course, a water park and not least, a museum with mechanical dolls. There is also the possibility of experiencing the area on horseback, followed possibly by a stay at Kommandorgarden's Wellness Centre.
