We also recommend exploring the mainland. Take a day trip to the Viking town of Karlstad with its rich historical heritage and stroll through the old town "Gamla Stan". The town of Kristinehamn is also worth a visit. Both cities offer many attractions, good shopping, entertainment and restaurants. The whole family can look forward to Vildapark. The park offers a skate park, a downhill bike course, an obstacle course, fitness trails and a barbecue area.
