As a neighbor you have here one of the six churches of the town, the merchant, the small gallery, library, the small brewery Midtfyns Bryghus and the inn of the village are all within walking distance. At the Brobyværk Kro inn you can eat well and rent bicycles. Then visit Sdr. Broby Vandmølle, the protected water mill with a working mill. Svannige Bakker and Svannige Bjerge is a wonderful nature area with a forest playground, miles of hiking trails, flower meadows and 5 species of reptiles and more. Through Brobyværk flows Odense Å, the largest river in Funen. The passage in Brobyværk allows fishing access to the upper course of the river. Fishing is allowed at marked places for a length of 2 km.
