Large holiday home in a quiet location on the North Sea dyke in Friedrichskoog with sauna and whirlpool.
Inside the house you will find three bedrooms, a living room with wood-burning stove and TV, a dining kitchen and a bathroom with shower.
The conservatory by the house is furnished as a cosy spa area. Relax here after a long walk and warm up again in the whirlpool or sauna. Please note that the conservatory is not heated.
Outside you will find a large, beautiful garden with typical beach grass, wooden terrace and outdoor shower. With a table tennis table and other sports equipment, there is also plenty of outdoor entertainment.
Friedrichskoog is located in the southern part of the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site. The cosy seaside resort with healthy North Sea air is ideal for a holiday with children, as the beach is shallow and well supervised. There are also many cycling and hiking trails around the North Sea coast. Friedrichskoog is also an ideal starting point for mudflat hikes or day trips to all the highlights along the coast, or excursions to the islands and Halligen.
***As part of the dyke reinforcement, the dyke in Friedrichskoog-Spitze will be equipped with a new profile from mid-April 2024 until probably the end of 2025 in order to meet the challenges of climate change. During this construction period, the bathing beach in Friedrichskoog-Spitze will unfortunately not be available.
Alternatively, the bathing beaches in Elpersbüttel, Nordermeldorf and Büsum will be available free of charge. However, the popular mudflat walks in Friedrichskoog-Spitze will not be possible again until April 2025.
The spa gardens will also be remodelled and expanded to include additional attractions. These include an extended dyke crown path, spacious terraces with panoramic views and a dyke and park grandstand with seating steps to linger on. From mid-2024, the completed event and play area in the spa park will offer a varied alternative to the beach.
This will make Friedrichskoog even more attractive, even if this is associated with some temporary inconveniences such as increased background noise, possible construction dust and possible path restrictions.***
