Loissin with its district Gahlkow is a small village west of Lubmin (6 km) on the Greifswald Bodden. The Hanseatic city of Greifswald is approx. 15 km away. As the bottom of the Greifswalder Bodden only slopes gently, the natural beach is particularly suitable for a beach holiday with children. But surfers and kite surfers have also discovered the area for themselves. In May, when the garfish come to spawn in the Bodden, anglers get their money's worth. There is a restaurant in the holiday home development right on the beach."
