This vacation home, located on a farm, offers a different flair for the vacation. On the edge of the forest, on the property there is a pond for swimming and fishing. Here you will discover nature rich in species, including moose, deer, birds, mushrooms and berries. The Skåneleden hiking trail passes by the property boundary. The half-timbered house dates back to the mid-17th century, when the country was still part of Denmark. At that time, brandy was produced here, so a pond with a good water quality was also built. Today the farm is under landscape protection. The so-called Branntwein pond is located 25 m from the house, in it rainbow and salmon trout are released, behind it there is a wetland biotope. Further on you will meet the hilly forest landscape with tall beech trees. In the beech forest, the river Vinneå was given back its natural course 10 years ago, and brown trout now cavort in it. Birds have also settled here. Nature has priority in the area, which can be seen from the large occurrence of porcini mushrooms. The house is not far from Hässleholm (Tykarpsgrottan, Hovdala Castle), Älmhult (IKEA museum and outlet). The owner lives in the other apartment in the house.
