Among other things, a hike from the cottage to Lindesnes Fyr is recommended. The lighthouse with its historical background to the 17th century is the oldest and southernmost lighthouse in Norway. Today the lighthouse houses a restaurant and a museum with permanent exhibitions. The lighthouse is also a good starting point for excursions on foot, by bicycle or by car. The village of Vigeland is about 12 km away. At Prestegård you can see a statue of the sculptor Gustav Vigeland. For more activities Mandal is about 23 kilometers from the cottage. Mandal with its white, old wooden houses offers typisvche southern Norwegian idyll. In the center of Mandal you will find shopping centers, stores, restaurants and several beaches.
