If you want to spend your holiday in the sun, there is a lovely large private pool in front of the villa. The pool is a real highlight of the villa. The 41m2 pool consists of a normal pool area (1.5m deep) and a children's pool area for the little ones. There is also a whirlpool, which can be heated. Just a few steps away is the beautiful garden with a trampoline and a children's playground where your children can have fun while you prepare a delicious dinner on the charcoal barbecue, which is also at your disposal. The villa is perfect for two families or groups who want their own privacy in separate apartments, but still want to spend an unforgettable holiday in Istria together! Villa Mahovi is located in the small village of Novaki Motovunski in central Istria, a short drive from the beautiful town of Motovun. Motovun is one of the most famous medieval towns situated on a hill. Take a walk through the narrow streets of the town and the city walls that surround this beautiful town and enjoy the view of the Mirna river valley. Not far from the villa is the Motovun forest, a unique place where you can go hunting for white and black truffles. After a fun but tiring day, you should visit one of the many taverns offering traditional Istrian dishes such as Istrian pasta with truffles, ombolo or bokarin, and round it all off with a good glass of Istrian Malvasia. For all culture lovers, we highly recommend a visit to the coastal towns of Pula, Rovinj and Porec with their rich Roman and Venetian history. Apart from its rich culture, Istria is also known for its beautiful beaches, which stretch along the west coast to Cape Kamenjak and further north to the town of Rabac.
