There are several good fishing lakes in the area, where you can try your luck at your leisure. After only half an hour by car you can reach the former Olympic city (1994) Lillehammer with the open-air museum Maihaugen, the family park Hunderfossen, Badeland, Spieland and the Olympic Museum.
