Welcome to this mountain house, situated undisturbed in fantastic surroundings in the high mountains with panoramic views over the valley. Here you can fish in the mountain lakes rich in fish and hike through the great natural terrain. Not far from the house you will also find a play park for the little ones. Hillestadheia is considered a snow-sure area, and in winter there are groomed trails and cross-country skis for rent. Walk along the Sentrumsloipe, which passes, among other things, the Elvarheim Museum, where you can see exhibitions about hunting & trapping, collections of knives and stuffed animals, and a violin-making workshop.
