Beautiful and very exciting vacation home on hilly natural terrain.
There has been a lot of attention to detail, for example the hot tub is built into a window from which you can enjoy the beautiful view of the bay. The attractive open and covered terraces create an almost southern atmosphere at any time of day. The house has a beautiful French-inspired eat-in kitchen, a lovely living room with wood-burning stove and panoramic views for all the money, exit to the beautiful terrace where the view can be enjoyed to the fullest. There is also a small living room/library with wood stove where you can sit with a good book. There is of course also the possibility to stream your favorite series or movie if you feel like it. Around the house is built a fantastic terrace, here there is always the possibility to find shade or full sun. In the garden there is a small pond.
The beach is within walking distance and the cozy Ordrup with cafes and shopping is not far. The landscape around Veddinge Bakker and Ordrup Næs is a beautiful hilly area. Veddinge Bakker is one of the largest hilly areas in Denmark, located near forest and beach, with steep slopes down to Sejerø Bay. The hills are part of the Odsherred bays. The arches were formed when the moving glacial ice pushed and compacted the landscape in front of it, so that arches and ridges formed what is now known as the impressive moraine landscape of Odsherred.
When you stand on Vejrhøj, you are at the third highest point in Zealand, 121 meters above sea level. On a clear day, you can count 27 churches, including Roskilde Cathedral. The view of the Geopark, the many summer houses and Nekselø Bay is impressive.
A dragon is said to live at the foot of Vejrhøj, lying on three golden eggs so large that not even the smallest can be redeemed for all of Denmark's riches.
The outermost part of Ordrup Næs, the beak, is a protected area. During excavations, numerous remains of Stone Age dwellings and hearths have been found here. Sejerø Bay has a varied coastline, many beautiful, child-friendly sandy beaches and a distinctive character. The area offers good opportunities for mountain biking, cycling, running and fishing. Short distance to the golf course and Dragsholm Castle, which offers good gastronomy with organic products from the region and is said to have a spirit of its own. Sommerland Sjælland, charming Rørvig, Nykøbing and the many galleries are also worth a visit.
