Villa Vistas de Serra sits enthroned high above the charming small town of Esporles in complete tranquillity. The typical Mallorcan stone house blends in perfectly with the green surroundings, which are partly woodland. It tempts you to stay a while and enjoy the view. The extensive outdoor area consists mainly of terraces, bordered by small stone walls and lined with Mediterranean flora, where you can spend your time in a varied and pleasant way. About 30 metres from the front of the house and slightly lower down is the inviting pool area, which is accessible via a stepped footpath and is blessed with breathtaking, unique views. The 9 metre long pool is easily accessible and has a depth of between 1.2 and 2.20 metres. On hot days, this is a wonderful place to cool off. For those who want to do nothing but relax and enjoy the sun all day long, comfortable deckchairs are available. Of course, if you want to protect yourself from excessive UV rays, you can simply sit under one of the parasols outside or find a spot in the covered part of this outdoor area. Here you will find the outdoor bathroom and a dining area, and there is also a fridge outside so that you always have a cool drink to hand. The long panoramic terrace right by the house is a great place to sit together and enjoy the luxury of this breathtakingly beautiful location. You can even see a little of the sea in the distance. If you have some time to spare, just relax under the gazebo with a good drink and forget all your worries. The covered barbecue area with dining table, sink and wood-fired oven is also located on this level. It's the perfect place for long barbecues where you can grill all kinds of fresh local food. Right next to the house there are two shaded parking spaces for the hire car.
This charming old house has been restored to retain its original character and ambience. Traditional furniture and decorative pieces create an authentic atmosphere that allows you to truly experience the real Mallorca. Large rooms invite you to relax and make the most of the 240 m². From the ground-floor entrance area, which is adorned with two classic rocking chairs, a few steps lead down to a cosy living/dining room with an open-plan kitchen. Relax on the comfortable sofas with a good book or watch a good film, or sit at the round dining table and enjoy the occasional delicious meal indoors. The kitchen is separated from the larger area by a counter and is equipped with everything you need for everyday holiday life, including a kettle and filter coffee machine. From this room you also have easy access to the huge terrace that runs almost all the way round the house. One bedroom and a bathroom with shower are located on the same level as the entrance to the house, while two further bedrooms and a bathroom are located on the upper floor. Two beds measuring 2.00 x 1.80 metres and two further beds measuring 1.90 x 0.90 metres are available for a good night's sleep. The bedrooms are all furnished in their own way, but share a traditional style that gives them an inviting atmosphere and even a touch of romance. This cosy, rustic design also comes into its own in the bathrooms. No need to pack an iron or a hairdryer; just use the ones available here.
Esporles, nestled in a valley on the southern slopes of the Serra de Tramuntana, is truly enchanting and well worth a visit. Unlike many other towns on the island, they have never sacrificed the old plane trees to widen the streets; instead, you can walk in their shade. Around the town you will find orange groves and almond trees. The shortest route to the sea, about 13 kilometres from the villa, leads through the mountains to the sleepy little coastal town of Port des Canonge, which is also worth a visit. The incredibly cosy Villa Vistas de la Serra is located in the west of Mallorca, on a beautiful hillside plot above the small island town of Esporles. The surrounding area offers a variety of excursion destinations and activities and the beautiful outdoor area of the house offers numerous opportunities for rest and relaxation. In Esporles, it is a real pleasure to stroll along the square-like Passeig del Rei. This is particularly worthwhile on Saturdays, when the weekly market is held there.
There are also some nice cafés where you can just sit and watch what is going on around you.
