Our El Campello villas give you and your family or partner immediate access to Spain’s Costa Blanca. It has over 120 miles of Mediterranean coastline. This stretch of beaches is one of the most iconic Spanish holiday destinations. Along with swimming and water sport activities, Costa Blanca is also a popular climbing location. This is thanks to its great weather conditions and limestone crags. It is located on the northern section of Costa Blanca. El Campello is very easily accessible to tourists. It is very close to Alicante Airport. The airport is a very well-serviced airport in the region. The town boasts beautiful beaches and stunning views. Our El Campello villas are the perfect location for a sunny holiday in Alicante!
El Campello is a modern resort town. It is popular amongst Spanish holiday goers. The town is located only 8 miles north of Alicante. El Campello has a beautiful natural environment. It has stunning views of the beach and sea, and expansive mountain backdrop. The tranquil climate also makes our El Campello villas a great year round destination. The main place to visit at El Campello is the Paseo del Mar. It is a two mile long stretch that makes for an idyllic evening walk. Additionally, make sure to visit the Muchavista beach, with its crystal clear waters and widely available water leisure activities. The beach is more and 2 miles long and has soft, golden sand. Additionally, in the vicinity of Muchavista there are a few coves. Such coves include La Coveta Fuma and La Venta La Nuza. Next to El Campello there is also a 350 meter long nudist beach called the Cala Cuartel. Finally, we recommend the beach promenade “Voramar de les Escultures”. It is named after the sculptor Vicente Ferrero. Along this promenade, there are colourful fishermen’s houses and a plethora of bars, cafes, and restaurants.
Our El Campello villas are also close to the other attractions the small town has to offer. Make sure to visit the Museo al Aire Libre, the Open Air Museum. Considered a younger sister of the Berlin Wall, the exhibit displays a row of painted murals, based on changing themes. After the museum, stop by the Chocolateria Valor for a nice range of chocolate and coffee drinks. The town also has many historic buildings that have remained almost entirely untouched by the town’s recent boom in tourism. Make sure to visit the town’s watch tower, the Torre de la Vigia Illeta. It is a tower built in the 16th century to protect against pirate attacks. The tower also provides a great view of the beaches and ocean.
After visiting the watch tower, we strongly recommend visiting the ruins of Illeta. It is located below the tower on a small peninsula. The site is a 5,000 year old settlement. It was created by Iberians and later occupied by the Romans. Considered to be one of the most important archeological sites in the Mediterranean, you can find ancient spas, pools, artifacts and even a graveyard.
Our El Campello villas are close to the city, providing quick access to the town’s relaxed night life. While you will be able to find more parties in Alicante or Benidorm, local residents recommend bars such as El Huello and El Torro Bar as a great spot to relax and socialize the Spanish way.
