Things to do near your holiday lettings in Spain
Aside from the activities on the gorgeous beaches, you can make a trip to the golf course or perhaps to Pinar de Bonanza Natural Park, where you can enjoy the flora and fauna on a hike. If you rent Spanish villas for the culture, then you will love our holiday lettings near the historical centre of Orihuela with its various museums, churches and old buildings. Visit local shops or the bi-weekly market selling a range of goods and fresh produce. If you are in the mood for some excitement, there is also a beautiful theatre and a casino.
Beach holidays on the Costa Blanca
Located just 10 kilometres from the coast, Orihuela has access to some fantastic beaches and seaside towns in an area known as the Orihuela Costa. Look out for blue flag beaches such as ‘La Flamenca’ and ‘La Mosca’ which offer the best experience on villa holidays in Spain. The town of La Zenia is as good a resort as any on the Costa Blanca and has a fantastic beach, as well as plenty of restaurants and bars. If you like cycling, there are a number of stunning coastal routes here, easy to access when you rent a bike from Costa Blanca villas.
Getting to your holiday villas in Spain
Orihuela is easy to get to from the airport in Murcia or Alicante, and there is a train station about 1 kilometre away from the Old Town. If you aren’t renting a hire car, the train is an excellent resource for getting to and from villas in Valencia, providing transport links all over the coast – from Elche to Castellón de la Plana. However, if you would prefer to see this lovely place on foot, there are plenty of walking routes that will take you around and even out of town. Simply enquire at the tourist office for more information.
